I just feel like I have to get this out. I'm talking to one of my greatest friends, who's always been like a big sister to me, giving the greatest advice's. We're talking about our hometown, and how materialistic it's become. I feel like the only thing people care about now, is Chanel's new collection and getting as drunk as possible. Is that really what we need in the world right now? 

I've said it before, I am no saint. I've been there, but I quickly realized how bad this lifestyle is. There is so much going on in the world, and people here worry about which brand their new shoes is going to be. 

Now I've never written anything about my opinion around this before, I've only talked about it, but everything that is important is hidden away from the spotlight. For example, there is over millions of people starving everyday with no water or food, there is bullying anywhere you go in the world, and there is people with psychological problems everywhere. These are problems we should deal with. Not who's going to buy the newest jimmy choo's first.

Life is so precious, so beautiful and the greatest gift of all. Why do we waste it? We simply don't appreciate what we have. Here in Norway you get to go to public schools for free, you have rights. But what about places where there is no rights? I'll tell you one thing, if you put a girl from my town in a place with no women rights, they would never survive. Because they wouldn't now any better. They live in a bubble, where everything is supposed to be perfect. No work, all play. 

That to me seems unfair. I want to make change, and open eyes. But it's hard when they're blindfolded with glue sticked to their eyes.

I'm going to follow Gandhi's wise words, and by being a better person, having open minds, and try the best I can to make a change, I will make a change.
